We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the first responders during the fire at our Wilton Branch. They worked tirelessly to contain and safely put out the fire. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts, for their heroic efforts.

Since the Wilton Branch fire on March 14, we have worked diligently to keep our customers informed about the operations of this branch. One area of concern following the fire, was the status of the safe deposit boxes. Fortunately, the vault performed as expected, and based on our observation, the boxes did not sustain any damage. They have been successfully relocated to our Ballston Spa and Milton branch locations, and affected Wilton customers contacted. We have created this landing page, which addresses frequently asked questions, and we will update this page as progress continues on building our new Wilton branch.
We appreciate the efforts of the first responders who battled a blizzard that day and performed admirably. Thank you to our customers and our community for their well-wishes, kind thoughts, and patience during this trying time. From you, we gather strength to rebuild, move forward, and become better, and for that we are grateful.
Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Wilton Branch
Q: Is the Wilton branch staff safe and sound?
Yes, the branch closed at 1 p.m. on March 14, 2017, due to extreme weather, and no one was in the building at the time of the incident.
Q: Will the branch be rebuilt?
We plan to rebuild the branch as quickly as possible – at the same location, with the same services available.
Q: Where can I do my banking now?
There are a number of convenient locations in the Saratoga Springs area. The closest locations to our Wilton branch are:

Q: Will I be able to bank during the same hours at any other locations?
Yes, effective Wednesday, March 15, we are temporarily extending the hours of our Exit 15 Branch:

Drive Thru: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Lobby: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
While you may bank at any of our other locations, you may also find the hours and location of our Church Street Branch to be convenient:

Q: Will I still have access to the Wilton management staff to do my banking?Yes. Lynette Matt, Wilton's Branch Manager, will be joining the Exit 15 staff temporarily.
Q: Is the vault secure?
Yes, 24-hour security is on-site and we expect to be given access to the building by the authorities very soon.
Q: When and where can I access my safe deposit box?
Once the bank is given access, we will securely transport the boxes to a secure location and contact customers to arrange for access to their boxes.
Q: Has there been damage to the safe deposit vault?
We are confident that the vault has done its job in protecting the belongings of our customers, but we will not know for sure until each customer has had an opportunity to access the contents of their safe deposit box.
Q: Can I open another safe deposit box at another ATC location
Yes. We have available safe deposit boxes at many of our branch locations. We will be providing replacement safe deposit boxes that will be free of charge for one year to those affected.
Q: Who can I call if I have questions about my safe deposit box at the Wilton branch?

Q: Was the transaction I completed yesterday (March 14) at the Wilton branch processed?
Yes, all transactions (including those performed at ATM) have been processed successfully.
Q: Where can I access another Adirondack Trust ATM?
We have a 24-hour ATM kiosk conveniently located at the corner of Maple Avenue and Route 50, 33 Marion Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. In addition all of other branches have ATMs available.
Q: Can I still use the WebWise online and mobile banking services?
Yes, all services are available as normal.
What are some of the things you are doing in response to this incident?
- We are currently conducting a thorough investigation.
- We are re-deploying some of the Wilton staff to our exit 15 location to accommodate our customers.
- Hours at our Exit 15 branch will be extended to 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday for your convenience.
- We have 24-hour security on-site at the Wilton branch.
- We are working on contacting our safe deposit box customers.
